Dykki Settle concludes his transformational interim leadership and fully rejoins Medic’s Board
Medic is proud to announce that Shreya Bhatt and Andra Blaj have stepped into the role of Co-Executive Directors, marking an exciting new chapter in leadership for the organization.
Dykki Settle stepped down as Interim CEO as of February 1, 2026, following a planned leadership transition led by Dykki and Medic’s Board of Directors.
Over the last eighteen months, Dykki’s decades of experience in global digital health helped shape Medic into the values-driven, innovative, and agile organization it stands as today. His thoughtful leadership steered the organization through a period of significant growth in both scale and impact, as well as global uncertainty, paving the way for Andra and Shreya to lead Medic forward from a place of strength.
“Serving as CEO of Medic has been one of the most meaningful chapters of my professional life,” says Dykki. “I am deeply proud of what we have navigated together as an organization.
“It’s now time to make space — for the right leaders, at the right moment, to carry Medic and our mission onward and upward to our next horizon. Together, Andra and Shreya represent the next generation of Medic’s leadership, and I could not have more confidence in them or enthusiasm for our future.”
Transitioning from her role as Chief of Staff, Shreya brings a 12-year history of leadership and institutional knowledge, along with exceptional operational rigor, and a profound care for the people who make Medic what it is. She’s been the steady force ensuring that, even in the most challenging moments, this organization functions with integrity, humanity, and care.on
Shreya says: “Andra and I have worked closely with Dykki over the last year to envision an ambitious and transformative strategy that positions Medic to have the greatest impact on health outcomes at the last mile.
“We’re stepping into this role together with deep respect for what’s been built, a clear commitment to our mission, and genuine excitement for the innovation we’ll advance together.”
As Medic’s Director of Open Technology, Andra brings a deep and intrinsic understanding of openness, community, and collaborative development, and has led Medic’s technology and product direction in some of the world’s least digitally resourced environments.
“From the first moment I spoke with the Medic team, I knew I wanted to work for this organization,” says Andra. “Everyone showed up with kindness and care.
“Shreya and I want to carry forward the deep commitment that Medic and the CHT Community bring to the world, and make sure every person who crosses our path feels it, too.”
This transition marks the first time that two leaders will share the executive role at Medic. It represents an intentional shift toward a model that celebrates diverse, resilient, and collective expertise and moves power into the hands of those based in Global Majority countries, closer to the communities we serve.
As the challenges and opportunities in digital health become ever more complex, a co-ED model allows Medic to meet them head-on with shared values, complementary strengths, and greater capacity.
“Andra and Shreya have the Board’s unanimous support,” says Raffi Krikorian, Board Chair. “What I’m most excited about is not just their individual strengths, but how they complement one another, and how it will position Medic for the future in a way that is sustainable and aligned with our values.”
Dykki will remain with Medic as a Senior Strategic Advisor through the end of April, supporting Shreya, Andra, and the team through a structured and thoughtful handover. He will then fully return to Medic’s Board of Directors, ensuring continued connection to the organization he has helped shape.
We invite you to join us in thanking Dykki for his invaluable contributions to Medic, and in welcoming Shreya and Andra into their new roles as we continue building community health technology, together.
